Posted in Local June 5, 2023 BLOOMINGTON – On Friday, June 2, at approximately 1:48 a.m., Bloomington Police officers responded to the College Mall in the 2800 block of East Third Street after a security guard reported vandalism. The security guard had located a shattered exterior door of the building near Dick's Sporting Goods. Responding officers including Bloomington Police officers, Monroe County Sheriff's Department deputies, and Indiana State Police troopers entered the mall and began checking the building to determine if someone had made entry.
